How can I delete a user?

Users can be deleted under ‘User Management’ on the wAnywhere console.

Step1: Sign in to wAnywhere web console as super-admin or admin.

Step2: Click on ‘User Management’ in the menu on the left side. 

Step3: Type the member/user to be deleted in the username search box click on the icon with the black tick 

Note: There are 2 ways to delete a member/user

Option 1

Step 4: Under ‘User Management’, click on the orange ‘Delete User’ icon, at the top right of the window.

Step 5: Select the member/user to be deleted click on the icon with the ‘green tick’ at the top right of the window.

Step 6: The desired member/user will be visible in the grey box click ‘Confirm’.

Caution: You will not be able to recover the user data once you perform this action and it is advised to back up your data before you proceed. 

Option 2

Step 4: On the ‘User Management’ page click on three dots under Action and select ‘Manage’.

Step 5: Click on the ‘Red Trash’ icon, next to ‘Manage’. 

Step 6: Select ‘Yes’ from the dialogue box that pops up.

Caution: You will not be able to recover the user data once you perform this action and it is advised to back up your data before you proceed.
